Mastery in your Feng Shui Practice
by Ellen Schneider, Arrange to Succeed®
To be a master and to have mastery calls for two different schools of thought. A master calls forth reverence, adjectives of the utmost, the highest. Mastery is skillful means. A way in which one acts or performs. It is felt. It is in your grasp.
Being in mastery pulls up the feelings of confidence and awareness and unsurpassed performance.
What is your mastery in your Feng Shui practice? It is important to know for two reasons. One, if you are in acknowledgment of your mastery, your pulse will be distinctive; you will generate an energy through you that gives you satisfaction. Two, if you know it, everyone else will know it. It will be apparent to observers that you are in your element. They will feel comfortable putting themselves in your hands. It becomes your brand; the way people see you and feel you.
One way to distinguish your mastery is to decide what the soul of your practice is. There are so many opportunities in Feng Shui. Deciding what makes you thrive and including it in your practice, generally calls forth success and hence, mastery.
What parts of Feng Shui do you most enjoy? Are you enthralled with the Bagua? Have you generated an original way to work with this concept?
Perhaps, the five elements attract you and you enjoy working them with your clientele.
Or, clutter clearing is the piece that seems to bring you the most joy. Find the kernel that makes your heart sing, and I will guarantee you that it is a part of your mastery.
Fully automatic and fun!
Now, what parts of your Feng Shui practice do you enjoy less? The answer to this question is just as important as the previous one. Sometimes, when we think we have to be all things, it keeps us from our genius. We try to be all things to all people and wind up doing more with less effectiveness. In the book, Attracting Perfect Customers, the authors ask the question: “What did you enjoy in the past that now feels like a chore? Why does it feel like that? When did it start to feel like a chore?” These are important questions that help to clarify your needs. I encourage you to think about this. The solution is to either delete them from your practice, find a way to enjoy them once again, or decide if this is something you can outsource.
When you decide what your mastery is (and you will know what it is from the terrific satisfaction you have when you use it), this will feed your Fame and Reputation. Be ready for acknowledgment and visibility. When you are in your mastery, you glow. Your contribution is observable and the authentic light of your soul will shine through. Expressing your mastery from a grounded Center, your innermost home, creates the foundation for an unshakable you. Your clients will feel your certainty and want your wisdom. Open your arms. Here they come.
