Message from our President
This year's Feng Shui Institute of the Midwest's 2020 Annual Meeting should be special and memorable for many reasons. This event is always the pinnacle of our FSIM schedule as we kick off another exciting year of meetings and special events! Our Keynote speaker is Jaime Meyer. Jaime is a shamanic practitioner and healer. Since 2001 he has led popular drumming and ceremonial events around the Twin Cities. I have attended Jaime's Winter Solstice events and know this will be a powerful and moving experience. Make sure to bring your drum, rattle, or percussion instrument!
We will also be getting the Chinese New Year's astrological overview form Carole Hyder. This next year is the Year of the Metal Rat. Since this is my astrological year (I am a Metal Rat), I am anxious to hear about it and what I can look forward to. The Wind and Water Center will have more information available about the Metal Rat Year and the adjustments we need to make to prepare. This is also the 20th Anniversary of the Feng Shui Institute of the Midwest. To celebrate this milestone, we have created a new logo for the year! The year's schedule of activities is finished and promises to be both fun and educational. Make sure to check out all the activities on our website.
We have invited all the past presidents back to participate in this 20th Anniversary Annual Meeting's festivities. They will be sharing some information about the origin of FSIM as well as some of their favorite memories.
