FSIM C3 Circle Fall Equinox Celebration
featuring Barbara Bobrowitz!

We were so please that so many people were able to join us for Barbara's presentation sharing Feng Shui knowledge she's learned from Grandmaster Professor Lin Yun Rinpoche and Katherine Metz.

Barbara started the presentation with reminders about feng shui adjustments, one of which was that when using "traditional adjustments and use of the "OTHER" (our inspiration): always maintaining the integrity of the theory/intention underneath the original cure/adjustment".  She gave the example of the red door; because not everyone wants or is able to have a red door, instead using your own inspiration to add something that is meaningful and also maintains the essence of having a red door (auspicious/attracts energy toward your home, etc.).

In addition, Barbara discussed the essence of and uses for the Sun-Moon Mirror; the essence and uses of the Nine Sun Secret Cure that comes directly from Professor Lin Yun Rinpoche; among many other uses, this cure increases and supports clarity, precision, balance, and luck. She also shared the procedure for creating a sacred object of the White Handkerchief for the Nine Sun Secret Cure.

Barbara kept the evening interactive, answering the many questions that came up during her presentation.  She ended the evening by taking us through a visualization of the Umbrella Ceremony for promoting peace, tolerance, and blessings for the world in this time of turmoil.

It was an enjoyable and informative evening, and we left with several ways to help uplift our ch'i, as well as all of the other positive uses for each of the cures she covered.  Thank you for sharing your gifts with our FSIM family; we are truly grateful!

Sometimes we get in our own way - at least I know I do!  A really good example is when we were having our home mitigated for radon in the middle of a big remodel.  The "radon people" came to install the system, but didn't let us know in advance that they needed our crawl space cleared out, so they weren't able to finish the project that day.  We asked them to contact us to let us know when they were able to come back to finish up.  We didn't hear from them, so we contacted them many times over the next few months, but never heard back from them.  I kept leaving messages for them saying we'd empty our crawl space once they scheduled a time to finish the radon mitigation.  I actually refused to empty it out until they scheduled a date with us.  Finally one day, my husband and son just went ahead and emptied the crawl space.  Two days later, the company called us and said they'd be out to finish our project the very next day!

What a great lesson for me to relearn - when you do the work (or have your husband and son do the work), whether it's decluttering, or making progress in a project, you create the space for the Universe to have something else happen.  So amazing!
